Unexpect was a Canadian avant-garde extreme metal band from Montréal, featuring an amalgamation of progressive metal, death metal, black metal, melodic heavy metal, and other styles including European classical, medieval, opera, gypsy jazz, electro, ambient, noise, and circus music.
