Shashank Subramanyam is a bamboo flautist from India. In recognition of his contributions to the arts, the Government of France honored him with the prestigious title of Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for the year 2022. He was born in Rudrapatna, Karnataka. He and his wife Shirisha have a daughter and a son, and live in Chennai, India.
