'Aphlva' is a brand new collection of music made over four months during lockdown in the UK.
It features a mix of genres, from genre-bending 2-step house, like 'Beat Type' and 'Decouragent (Part 1 & 2)', to hardcore rave tracks, like 'Solar' and 'I'm Hard'.
The album’s name follows the same theme as ‘Kazzqa’ - I needed a name for the folder on my computer, so I mashed my keyboard, and this is what it came out with.
Again, the album is entirely digital, however I primarily used vintage synth emulations and plugins rather than bog standard Logic VST’s. This created a unique, nostalgic sound with thick textures and layers.
