Before I Burn tells stories of egoism, greed, and the evil it promotes within people’s minds.
When it feels like the whole world is burning, do you punch out, or do you stay and burn?
Drums, bass, and guitars were tracked in the basement of an old building in downtown Oslo. Overdubs for guitar, as well as vocals and keys were tracked in different locations in and around Oslo. Like in the past, the band was in charge of the entire process from songwriting and artwork, to recording and mixing. However, mastering was done by Tony Reed (Mos Generator).
