Rainbow Room embarked on a 2 day recording adventure on Friday, May 5th 2017 that lasted until early morning Sunday, May 7th 2017.
The goal was to write as many songs and record them as possible that weekend. They started about 2pm on May 5th and took a break about 7pm to go to the Best of Detroit Party. Came back about 10pm and continued working. Stopped about 5am. Started again about 11am. Worked all day Saturday with various breaks for important things like pizza and bathroom usage, finally finishing about 4am Sunday morning.
The results are the 10 songs that make up Rainbow Room's first album, 'The World'.
