The Truth finds Precious Bryant expanding her sound beyond the intimate solo performances of her debut, this time joined by a small band that includes her son Tony Bryant on bass, J.D. And “Morning Train” appeared prominently in the film Black Snake Moan, further solidifying her place in the modern Southern blues canon.
