This EP is inspired by a story I told to my daughter about her toy cat "Chester". She gave me the title "Chester and the Dancing Tree" and I did the rest. Click on track information for the story. All sounds made from scratch in Bitwig Studio with the exception of the clicking noises in "The Dancing Tree" - I originally used a preset for the bass line which included the clicking, I filtered out the actual bass part, exported the clicking and added my own bass sound. Tracks 2 & 3 were heavily inspired by Pye Corner Audio.… Expand
