Pineapple Records is delighted to present the first full EP from Amy Kisnorbo, ‘Verb Works’. Sounding like pretty much nothing else out there at the moment, but getting early love on dub from Nikki Nair, Breaka and plenty others, each track on the project twists up elements of grime, footwork and general ‘booty’ goodness into that strangely unexplored - but increasingly exciting - territory roughly around 150bpm.
Amy first appeared on Pineapple as part of the BAGS2RMX project back in 2021, but it was her set at our Keep Hush event at the end of that year which made it clear we needed to get a full dancefloor-focussed project out of her. This decision (and the subsequent loan of a drum machine) has only been vindicated by her appearances since then at events such as Rupture, Heavyweight, and the Keep Hush Turbo Tour, each of which have only further emphasised the fact that this is a producer and DJ with a unique - and deeply personal - take on club music.
