Celebrated Parisian producer Nicolas Repac's remix of “Cap ou pas cap” (“Will you or won't you?”) is the second single from Paris Combo’s new album, Quesaco?, which was recorded in the months before the tragic death of their lead-singer Belle du Berry in 2020. Timeless and international, Paris Combo's music effortlessly weaves together elements of Django Reinhardt-inspired gypsy jazz and Latin music, as well as exotic and cinematic influences.
Nicolas worked on the band's Remixed project, remixing a couple of songs from their previous album, Tako Tsubo. They loved what he did so they asked him to collaborate on two songs on their upcoming album Quesaco? From there it was a natural progression to ask him to remix "Cap ou pas Cap." In remixing the song, he throws a new light on the vocal performance and the composition itself.
