This EP was written, rehearsed and recorded in 3 days in the old Seacliff School building, just north of Ōtepoti/Dunedin, Aotearoa. Waipūtī is a tidal lagoon not far from Seacliff.
We live in three different countries and it was extremely meaningful to come together and make some new tunes in a pretty isolated part of the world that we all know intimately. The process was definitely more important than the product. The songs are effectively demos and who knows how they may have developed if we'd had more time? Having said that, we're proud of this collection. A sketch of a time and a place. Enjoy.
