Morning After finds Rayana Jay's signature songwriting and vocals even more advanced. She penned the entire album, as she did for her debut EP, Sorry About Last Night. The project includes a lone feature from Maryland rapper Innanet James, and production from ROMderful (Soulection), Mikos Da Gawd, Elujay, Kev Choice, The Kount (Fete Records), and more.
While Sorry About Last Night ultimately detailed the turmoil of a break-up, Morning After is the clarity that comes after. The EP touches on Rayana Jay's relationship with love itself and the spectrum of feelings she experiences at the intersection of real love and loving love.
