The international metal project Caedeous present their third long player with "Malum Supplicum". As with its two predecessors, this is a concept album that tells thematic horror stories inspired by the works of Lovecraft, Barker and Alighierie. The eternal struggle between good and evil, angels and demons, heaven and hell.
The opulent compositions by mastermind Paulo J. Mendes provide the concept with the necessary musical space and mercilessly unfold their effect in a wall of merciless black metal blast beats and symphonic drums of sound. In the meantime, Mendes has managed to gather an impressive line-up around him. Not only Annihilator bassist Rich Gray is honored as a session musician for this project, meanwhile the mezzo soprano Rosmerta, who gives her Caedeous debut on the present album, is part of the permanent band lineup.
"Malum Supplicum" was mixed and mastered by Rich Gray at Gray Matter Audio Studios in Soham, England and will be released as a double CD! In addition to the regular album, CD2 contains the complete work in an orchestral version, which completes the band's musical vision!
