Hair of the Dog is a compilation of some of Baltimore’s finest electronic/improvisational musicians. The bulk of these recordings were made in the midst of the pandemic and reflect the increasing momentum of anxiety and instability felt by many, reflected in a soundscape that ranges from punctual, arrhythmic vocals to maximalist Fourth World dance. Descending further into mix, we seamlessly flow into free electronics on the fine edge of absurdism, cut-up New York field recordings, and an unhinged electronic drum solo. 72 minute tapes.
