"Wurmenai is the longing for a reality that doesn't exist.
A conscious attempt to interact with nonexistent "objects". Speculation on such creates a new reality and results in the speculator's deification. This reality is a Wurmen, it is as real as you are (or your fancy hat, for example). Quite often, one decides to share existence with reality, entering a lucrative partnership (similar to your relationship with a hat). For amusement sake, parties happen to trade places (one might function as "The Hat", the other as The Reality or "The Divine Being").
Seldom, in the process, names, relations, purpose, laws are forgotten...
and the quest for the master reality begins. The truth is, it has never existed nor it meant anything."
