I’ve had an emotional year since my last project, and these are some of the songs I produced during it. I wanted to structure the album to portray the rollercoaster I went through during that time, and I think they do a good job of showing a lot of sides to myself which I’ve not done with my music before.
I don’t really like showing my emotions in my music because I like to make them sound fun and happy, so I can listen back to them with good memories. Making simple, raw, emotional tracks seemed a bit naff and already done before, but I like concept projects and trying new things, so after what felt like a hell of a year at home, it felt like the right thing to do for once.
