In March 2018 Blackberries played at the legendary South by Southwest in Austin, TX. Ice Cream Factory producer Matt Parmenter invited the band to do a session in his vintage studio on the last day of their stay.
There the band recorded four previously unreleased songs live in the studio to capture the atmosphere of the trip as an appetizer for their upcoming album "Disturbia" which will be released late 2018.
Those songs recorded in Austin will now be released as "The Texas Tapes" and feature different, spontaneous versions that capture the live energy of the band and dig even deeper into their tuneful Krautpop sound.
The first track "Austin" is a hommage to their festival experience, was written in the studio and will only be released on "The Texas Tapes".
