This album is dedicated to Quzzy, the voice and heart beat of our band & our brother in all things heavy who tragically died due to a congenital condition discovered too late.
The process of creating this album has been a long and tumultuous one, beginning in 2017 and experiencing numerous setbacks along the way. Despite completing most of the tracking by 2019, the global pandemic and Quzzy's then declining health further delayed progress. While we held out hope that Qball would make a full recovery and be able to join us in the mixing and completion of the record, this was sadly not to be. The loss of Quzzy's friendship and creative presence in April of 2021 left a deep and immeasurable void in our lives, making it feel almost impossible to move forward. It was then a blessing that our dear friend and talented studio wizard, Kev Hare, stepped up to help us navigate through our grief and bring the record to fruition in a way that we believe Q would have been proud of.
