After a four-year album break, the Swedish-Danish indie cosmic rock band Black Light White Light returns with a new album, THE ADMIRER, on August 26, 2022. The new album presents the band's most personal, probably most versatile and certainly most adventurous release to date. The Admirer delivers psychedelic rock, cosmic pop as well as piano driven ballads to surf-boogie cirkus rock with wandering melodies, layers of keyboards, sizzling delay guitars and manipulated effects which merge into an intoxicating mix. With guest appearances by French chanteuse Claire Tillier on B.L.W.L. and Grammy Award-winning string composer Davide Rossi (Coldplay, The Verve, Goldfrapp) on Beautiful Boy the album's 10 songs provides memorable melodies with texts about pain, doubt, love and confusion echoing a pervasive melancholy and a Scandinavian noir vibe.
