This is my second album, barely a year apart from the first and yet it feels like so much longer. I am a different person from who I was a year ago, and my music reflects that. Not only do I now understand HOW to craft my music in a more professional manner, I believe I've met my goal of creating an album that is far more accessible than the last, something far shorter and to-the-point, but something that is just as (or more) packed with ideas and fuelled by my creative drive that seemed to explode over the course of this bizarre last year, Covid defining so much of what anyone has been able to do.
It's not surprising then that this is an album very much borne of the isolation and distance I've felt as a result of the pandemic, something I know is far from a unique experience, but one I would be remiss to ignore as the primary influence on my work.
Over the last year or so I've experienced many sleepless nights, and it's this concept that defines the course of my album, a journey that represents one of these nights and the thoughts and turmoil that afflict me.
