An American Death-Metal-Punk-Crossover band from the suburban side of Boston. To be frank, they were a metal band that drew the majority of their influences from punk. No wonder they were so unique. They formed at a very early age, while still in high school in fact, and reigned supreme for decades. ‘Coroner’s Office’ was originally released by New Renaissance Records on blood red vinyl and later re-issued by Ever Rat Records on standard black vinyl and cassette. Both vinyl versions and the cassette are very rare finds on the record market, fetching much higher denominations than they did at the time of original sale. Post Mortem is an investment-worthy of you making, paying great dividends over time. The music on all versions of “Coroner’s Office’ was identical but the covers varied greatly. The cover version which accompanies the music here is the Ever Rat Records re-issued version. Their second album ‘Festival of Fun’ is also available through PIG, as is the third album, ‘Destined For Failure.’ PIG acquired the Ever Rat Catalog, home of Post Mortem. Taboo issued their fourth album in 2009 titled ‘Message From The Dead,’ a masterpiece, proving they never lost their giddy-up. Originally released on New Renaissance Records. Re-Issued on Ever Rat Records. Now on PIG Records. Oink-oink!Expand
