Starting as a B-Boy back in the 90's, LTF aka Anton was raised on Funk and Hip-Hop music even if he didn't know the name for it back then. Later, artists like DJ Shadow, Beat Junkies, Cut Chemist, Z-Trip lead him to the turntablism culture. He started digging records, rocking local parties and traveling around Siberia to spin breaks at b-boy events. His passion grew when he discovered the SAMPLER. Since then his mind focused on loops, chops, scratches, bass lines and beats. His first project Dapdown met local interest, helped him to develop his skills and find friends worldwide. One of these random connections happened with the crazy guys from France: two brothers who ran their own label Black Milk Music. Sharing similar thoughts about music, they started recording together even though they were divided by 4500 km. Today, Anton has reached the point where he is ready for his first solo album, armed with the acoustic double bass, old soviet synthesizers and a crate of vinyl. We are thrilled to drop this album with a 7” vinyl single on Black Milk Music. "The intersection of an artist with the groove is a special thing. [...] This is the kind of ‘under the radar’ music we like to champion here, small indie releases with a big sound. Quite impressive for a first effort. [...] We all have groove habits that are hard to break. This one’s a good habit for sure. Light the fuse baby, it’s about to explode." Flea Market FunkExpand
