Many years ago, long before the time of man, and most other life on Earth...there existed an ape-like creature with a rather special connection to the planet she called home. Her name was Lucy. She was the first of us. Endowed with many extraordinary abilities, and gifted with seemingly infinite youth, she took it upon herself to guard over this world. She vowed to protect this planet, to preserve it, and see its many flora and fauna evolve and exist. But under her own design, of course...and over many millions of years. She saw the rise and fall of the dinosaurs. And played a part in their genocide, whether right or wrong. But that's a story for another time. Over time she did, eventually, grow old. And in her twilight years, bore twins sons, Saturn and Sunday. Both were given her knowledge of magic and deep connection with this world at birth. They shared a rare gift...an ability to
inhabit the body and mind of creatures of our planet. They were identical in every way, but for the horns that sprouted from Sunday's skull. They spent most of their youth in agreement. But that wasn't always to be. Upon Lucy's death, the brothers took ownership of Earth's future. And each had a very different idea of what it would be. This is their story. In Lieu.
