Exhibit B leads a further investigation into the War on Terror, exploring past the solitary confinement of the Abu Ghraib prison and taking a look at the broader scope of the War. Around 184,382 to 207,156 Iraqi civilians were killed. More than 70,000 Afghan and Pakistani civilians were also killed.
The music is a complete evolution of War Crime's sound. With a broader perspective of the War on Terror, comes a broader perspective on the musical representation of the agonizing pain & terror felt by the victims of the War. Influenced by modernist free jazz & free improvisation, 20th century classical music, and tape loops, Exhibit B attempts to take War Crime's sound and run with it past any musical borders it can reach. Section I. is complete sonic extremism, whilst Section II. is a sombre, grounding, and funereal musical experience, in contrast.
