For 'Not My Bathroom', I wanted to explore and experiment with drum programming, specifically inspired by music from the 90's rave scene, mainly using samples from classic analogue drum machines from the 70's and 80's.
To get a more vintage vibe, I also used plugins that emulated an analogue noise signal (evident in tracks like 'Fudpse' and 'Xzyoyia'). There is also real noise on some samples which I've used thanks to a Neve amp which the samples were run through (evident in the title track 'Not My Bathroom').
I wanted the name and theme of this album to be different to to the last two, hence I used a picture of not my bathroom.
