"The Run" is the Mass Hysteria Agency's debut release. The recording took place during the winter of 2020/2021. The ep was recorded by co-producer/engineer Jordan Barillaro (Cirque du Soleil, Eric Lapointe), in three of Montreal's premiere studios; Studio Mixart, Tonebender Studio, and Studio Pavillion Noir. The mixing and recording of overdubs took place at Iac and Barillaro's respective home studios. Iac, who handled guitar, bass, keyboard, and vocal duties; was joined by session drummer, Jules Pampena (ex. Scars on Broadway), and saxophonist Louis Plouffe.
