This the digital version of "Fall's Resplendence." If you are interested in purchasing this on cassette, please go to https://fiadh.bandcamp.com/. An Autumnal Atmospheric Folk-Black Metal meditation on death and it's intimate link to many aspects of the season. Fall's Resplendence was recorded with the same gear and setup to my debut album "Autumn's Stag and the Crescent Moon." This has led me back to a more more raw and dreamlike/surreal sound, but this album also has more of an Appalachian influence in terms of folk instrumentation and is at times heavier and darker. That seemed appropriate given the subject matter. It also contains more focused themes in songwriting and a wider emotional range best suited to a spiritual examination of death on personal, spiritual, seasonal, aesthetic, and environmental levels. There are no guest appearances on the album, save for "The Liminal Forest," which features my Aunt Elizabeth on Accordion and my Uncle Fred on Mandolin. Having them on this album is incredibly meaningful and a great honor for me; they are a large part of the reason why I play music in the first place, and their lifelong experience as bluegrass musicians has shaped me as a musician.Expand
