Trelleborg’s style can be described as a mix of symphonic metal with electronic dance music.
The band is named in the name of fortress in Denmark, build in year 980 by the Danish King Harald Bluetooth. The circle in the middle part of band logo is a schematic plan of the fortress from a bird’s-eye view.
The band has played on a one stage with such bands as Slade (UK), Amaranthe (Sweden), Lord Of The Lost (Germany), Alestorm (UK), Moonsorrow (Finland), Korpiklaani (Finland), Helheim (Norway), Norther (Finland), Arkona (Rus).
Debut album "Lands Of Njord", that is mastered by Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Children Of Bodom, Amorphis) at Finnvox Studios (Helsinki, Finland), released in April 2010 by 3 labels:
Stygian Crypt productions – worldwide, Perekrestok Records - Russia and CIS countries, CD-Maximum - web-release.
During the "Lands Of Njord Tour " the band has played in Germany, Finland, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and took part in such festivals as Hoernerfest (DE), Black Troll Festival (DE), Lost In Music (FIN) and Narva Bike Festival (EE) with Tanzwut, Haggard, Billy Talent, Poets Of The Fall.
In 2011 Trelleborg released single "In The Name Of Love" – a combination of symphonic metal with tango. The single is mixed by famous finnish soundproducer Hiili Hiilesmaa (Him, 69 Eyes, Moonspell, Apocalyptica, Amorphis). Albums produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa have sold over three million copies worldwide. The release is mastered by Mika Jussila.
Next single "Mi Amor" (2012) is inspired by the legend of Black Widow, that is known throughout Latin America. This time guys combined metal with flamenco. Release is mastered at Hotline Mastering in New York.
On 10 July 2012 Versailles Records (USA) has released "No More Tears: A Millennium Tribute To Ozzy Osbourne - 1971-2012" features rock and metal superstars like current and former members of Motley Crue, Kiss, Alice Cooper band, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, and many of the hottest rock and metal bands on the rise from around the globe covering Ozzy’s songs. Trelleborg performed Ozzy’s “Let Me Hear You Scream”.
Next single “Going Down” is mastered by Svante Forsbäck (Rammstein, Apocalyptica, Volbeat) at Chartmakers (Helsinki, Finland). The first time band has recorded live choirs. This is also the first track from the soundtrack for the new computer game “Gods Of Arena” (that was planned to be released by Hitcat Games).
In 2014 the band took part in american tribute to Metallica with past/former members of Whitesnake, Megadeth, Jimmy Page Band, The Misfits, Testament, Iced Earth. CD "Puppet Masters: A Millennium Tribute To Metallica's Greatest Hits 1981-2014" released by Versailles Records. Trelleborg performed it’s version of Metallica’s classic “Battery”.
In 2015 Trelleborg released new single “I Like” – mix of symphonic metal with EDM. That is the first time when band recorded not only live choirs, but also live orchestral instruments.
At the moment the band is recording a new album, also with live choirs and orchestral instruments. The album planned to be released in first part of 2018.
