Originally born from the underground of Alberta’s thriving Industrial scene of the early to mid 2000s, Psykkle quickly became a staple in the region due their unique sound and fierce stage presence. Playing with some of the biggest artists in the scene, and making multiple appearances at the now infamous Terminus Festival, Psykkle was quickly building a strong reputation.
After independently releasing their breakout album “Rock Bottom Paradise” in 2011, Psykkle joined CRL Studios to release a number of EPs, and remix albums. Releasing their second full length album, Mother Monoxide, in 2013, Psykkle then seemingly disappeared without a trace.
Now, after 12 years, and from the isolation of Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton Island, Psykkle is reborn. With an updated sound and vision, Psykkle is ready to bring that same energy and aggression with their newest, self-titled EP.
