Founded in 2017, in Curitiba / PR, Brazil, the Low Tide Riders quartet - formed by João (vocals), Hell (bass), Carlos Sabião (drums) and Maurício Albiero (guitar) - arrives in the second half of 2020 full of news .
After the release of two demo songs in the best DIY style, it was time to really get into a studio to prepare for an EP with four songs that have just been released by Abraxas.
Entitled The Road, the EP is the record of the band's own compositions. Recorded in May and June, at Fuzz Studio, it has production signed by Diogo Zotto, responsible for bringing rich textures, experimentations and complex harmnies, which extracted the best of the band.
As for the songs, they move through the heavy sound of the 1970s, the main impact of the band, southern rock, stoner and hints of hardcore. All of this, with low tunings, powerful riffs, striking bass lines with a lot of drive and a cohesive drums that show João's powerful and bestial vocals.
