As I can spend forever twitching and twerking minor things on my projects, this series is meant as way to try out some things and not be perfectionistic about it. Generally the rule here is to record, edit and finish a track within 24 (or at least 48) hours. No big projects or overarching themes, just try out a simple idea.
The name? Well, I've had this idea for about 15 years and I always wanted to name it after someone. But decided, it was best not to name it after someone I know or even someone alive today. After a long time, it ended on Theodora, regnant of the Byzantine Empire, as I admire her for several reasons. As she referred to herself as "despoina", that is added to the album title.
