The Other Without is an evocation of a Great Cosmic Goddess. Neil Mortimer (Urthona) and Michael J York (Stargazer’s Assistant, Cyclobe) combine live studio recordings, performed on classic synths under the gaze of Glastonbury Tor, with location and field recordings made at magical confluences, hidden waterfalls and enchanted shores. The Other Without offers three transportive tracks of blissed out rural psychedelia, bringing together Mortimer and York’s shared love of analogue synths, kosmische musik and the West Country.
