The opportunity to record this album was given to us by Anrdas Lovasi in 2021. He invited us and 9 other bands he liked to record in his studio for 3 days. We used this opportunity to record this 50 minutes of my music.
I chose the songs with Emma from a bunch of materials I had already. We were looking for ones that we both could imagine with this band and especially with her voice.
It was the first time all 7 of us were playing together. It was quite a challenge, especially since we were planning to play with 2 guitar players, both of whom cancelled a week before the recording. It was an unexpected honour that Adam Nagy (from the Hungarian band Roy & Adam) said yes to our invitation and learned all the songs in one week.
Before the recording session we rehearsed once with the whole band.
In the studio we played everything together, then overdubbed the vocals and corrected the occasional mistakes.
We recorded in Febuary 2021 and we had to wait a year with the release. Finally in January 2022 we could hold the album in our hands.
