"Ace of Spades as a cover for us actually started years ago, we had been playing it live for fun. When we were writing our last album “Becoming” we were listening to a lot of the Motörhead classics and thought what if we slowed this track way down to sound like one of our dirty rock jams? We fell in love with the result and played it around, it got some great reactions so we decided to finally record it! We’re just sad Lemmy will never get to hear it. So in his honor, we shall release it into the world! May the metal gods accept this filthy offering."
