Psyykäe EP
This release used field samples of audio and radio frequencies to generate and modify the base layer tones and textures; these were then further processed to construct subtle sub-delta and theta wave patterns for neural synchrony experimentations to attempt to facilitate an altered conscious state of unfocus and retro-creativity and to probe for dissonant early right anterior negativity (ERAN).
Our debut Sisäpuolella EP (meaning from the inside) used wearable tech to control and generate tones and modifiers - literally from inside - and our new Psyykäe EP extends this concept.
The opening track Kuusi was first played at The Dark Outside broadcast which took place at Murray's Monument, Galloway Forest, Scotland from noon 25th September until noon on the 26th September 2021
