'Tell-Tale' is a mix of original and traditional folk songs, and is Tom's debut studio record. Fresh and exciting arrangements of English traditionals 'General Wolfe' and the classic 'Little Musgrave' sit alongside 'The Maid and the Soldier', an original song in the folk style based on Thomas Hardy's poignant short story, 'The Melancholy Hussar'. 'Blues for Brecon', a pastoral guitar instrumental inspired by Tom's hometown, completes the EP.
Known on the folk club scene in London for his intricate acoustic fingerstyle guitar playing and soft, smooth vocals, Tom is a young and up-and-coming folk guitarist on the English folk scene and has drawn comparisons to Jim Moray and a young Martin Simpson, among others.
