10 demo tapes were sent out in 1993. R&S, Antler Subway, ARS, Bertelsmann Music Group and News wanted to sign tracks. Jo Bogaert (Technotronic) commissioned 2 tracks for an upcoming Ambient compilation series back then. A second project got again the interest of R&S, a renown label then in the genre of a niche avant-garde style of techno off the beaten track however with an audience worldwide.
Traveled to London to leave demo's at Kiss FM DJ Colin Dale who had the tracks playing at his home non stop in full anticipation for more -- at least that was his fax telling me weeks later -- and at Björk's European concert manager I was directed to via One Little Indian manager at the time. Boy those were the dreaming days.
"A nice slice of 'lost' '94 style AI Techno. A homebrewed vibe, maybe a little in thrall to contemporary Warp etc. but not without inspiration. 'Groom' is proggy acid not unlike early Black Dog or Plaid with Arabic / Rai touches and an appearance from the Lone Ranger. Obscure semi-precious gem." -massenmedium December 28, 2015 (discogs) https://www.discogs.com/Nectar-Nectar/release/5204031
