We are proud to present our debut EP, 'Strangeways'. Constructing this EP took two years; the first two of the six tracks were recorded in early 2019 and the rest followed in 2020. After many delays, we are excited to finally announce it.
'Strangeways' was born from the feeling of being stuck inside your own head - particularly in the context of mental health. You become claustrophobic within your own mind; trapped while the world moves on. It appreciates and explores the alienation that these feelings cause and how to everyone else you can seem broken and lost in your 'strange ways'. Keeping these emotions captive is like trying to keep a hurricane in a glass bottle; one day the pressure will overwhelm and they will escape.
Each song has been inspired by personal experiences, political inferences and feelings that we believe are shared within our generation.
'Strangeways' is a plea to look after yourself, acknowledge you are not alone in these feelings and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
